Set against a centuries-old ritual in the Malwa region of Central India—where women circle the Banyan tree for the long life of their husbands—Baramasi follows a young girl as she tries to untangle childhood memories and see what lies beyond tradition.
I was brought on to design and animate the end credits sequence—an intimate closing chapter that echoed the film’s emotional arc. With hand-drawn textures and subtle transitions, the animation was crafted to feel like a final sigh—soft, reflective, and rooted in the same tenderness that runs through the film.
Directed by Mangeshi Dronkar and Abhinav Dubey, Baramasi is now playing in film festivals across the globe. IMDb.
